East Bali is an emerging destination for the discerning visitor with more natural attractions than any other part of Bali. The pace here is slower here, without the tacky nightspots and excesses of South Bali. The three main areas for tourism are Candi Dasa, Padang Bai and Amed.

Our area of Karangasem has it all-dramatic scenery, dozens of beaches and coral reefs, WW2 shipwrecks for diving and snorkeling, ancient sites, tropical forests, beautiful rice terraces, royal palaces, trekking, quiet roads, and dominating the whole regency is the towering presence of Bali’s highest and most sacred Mt. Agung. So many attractions are waiting for the visitor in our local area within just 1 hour or less of the resort.

From the airport:

From your arrival at Ngurah Rai airport at Kuta it takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the Resort. The drive allows the visitor to see the beautiful countryside and marvel at the panorama filled with coconut palms and spectacular rice fields and terraces. On route you pass first through the famous resort of Sanur and then onto the new by-pass. Steadily the real and untouched Bali becomes evident and the character and architectural culture becomes visible at every turn in the road.

 

The journey continues through varied scenes of beauty as you pass along the coastal road and onwards to the Resort of Candidasa. Bali Palms Resort in Candidasa provides the perfect place to settle down and relax. It is very close to the major attractions of East Bali, and the main shop and restaurant strip is only 200m from the Resort.
